While I really hate to give a small business that is so tailored to the trendy wholesome nature crowd, I need those of us who is not in that crowd a heads up. No diet pop, very limited menu, and limited seating inside. Service was excellent and friendly. But the grill cheese was the weirdest I ever tried. Mozzarella cheese, olive oil and ciabatta bread. Which I washed down with their free ice water. Lots of different coffees and teas. If this is your kind of place, you would give it more stars, but for us who grew up with 1970s Midwest food, try some place else.

I have been eyeing this local establishment for a while now and I'm so happy I finally gave it a try. Upon walking in, 1 was greeted very warmly by the owners and I love the style and setup of the interior. Everything looked delicious so this definitely made it difficult to choose what to get. I got the Grilled Cheese Sandwich to start, and I just need to say this now: possibly the best grilled cheese l've had in a very long time. It had that cheese pull we all crave and hit all the right notes! I also got the cheese croissants, which I also had one of and I love how fluffy and fresh it was and they definitely don't hold back on the cheese! I took some cannolis, sofoof and a strawberry shortcake croissant to go, which they drizzled with honey and topped with powdered sugar! Lovely customer service, amazing food and very reasonable prices. Blown away with this experience and I will surely be back as this is right around the corner from me! I can't wait to try out some more products and feel as if I'm at home when I'm inside!

Had an lovely first experience here today. Wonderful staff! Great ambience, delicious pastries and perfect coffees. Definitely give them a go if you haven't already! They've only been here about 5 to 6 months from when we just dropped by today. A wonderful new local spot in town!

Such a cute cozy cafe and coffee shop. I got a hot latte with hazelnut syrup which was delicious and my daughter got an iced vanilla latte with oat milk. Both drinks were amazing. The owner was so nice and I loved how it’s a family effort. Next time I’m in the area I will stop again!

This place is a hidden gem in Livonia. Sycamore Tree Bakery & Cafe is incredibly charming and welcoming from the moment you walk in. The space is super clean, the staff is very friendly, and you can feel the pride they take in what they’ve created. I also loved how Michigan, Detroit, and Livonia are all represented throughout the café; it gives it a really unique and local feel. This was my first time here, but it definitely won’t be my last. I was able to sit down and get some work done on my book, and even though it’s a smaller café, they make great use of the seating and layout. The coffee was excellent, I ordered it black with a double shot of espresso, and it was smooth and flavorful. While I was there, I noticed a great mix of people coming in, from individuals working to families and younger groups. It really feels like a place for everyone. The only small drawback is that because it’s a smaller space, there aren’t a lot of outlets, so if you’re planning to work on a laptop, you may not always be able to plug in. That said, it’s definitely not enough to take away from the overall experience. This is truly a gem of a café, and I’m looking forward to coming back.
